Service 07 · Keep the back office current
Keep the back office current.
Once the systems are set up, someone has to keep them current: entering and categorizing transactions, matching receipts, keeping bills, invoices and vendor files up to date, and having things ready for your CPA. I offer bookkeeping and back-office support, and when the work calls for it I bring in and coordinate outsourced help. Scope depends on your business, and we decide it together on the call.
Fixed-scope project. You get one price in a written proposal after the call.
Sound familiar?
This is for you if you are saying:
Owners who need the back office kept up after the systems are set up.
- The books are always a month behind.
- Receipts and bills pile up until tax time.
- Nobody owns the vendor files.
What I set up
- Bookkeeping support: entering and categorizing transactions, matching receipts and keeping records current in QuickBooks Online
- Bills and invoices kept moving, following the workflows in your systems
- Vendor and subcontractor files kept current, including W-9s and certificates of insurance
- Month-end checklist so records are ready for your bookkeeper or CPA
- Coordination with your CPA, and with outsourced bookkeeping help when it makes sense
What you walk away with
- An agreed back-office scope and checklist
- Records kept current in your systems
- A month-end package ready for your CPA
How the project runs

- DiagnoseSee where records stand today and what needs to happen each week and month.
- DesignAgree the scope, checklist, who does what, and where your CPA fits in.
- ImplementGet records current and set the weekly and monthly routine.
- VerifyCheck the first month-end together with you and, if you like, your CPA.
- StabilizeSettle into the routine, with me or a team I coordinate.
Ongoing support is available after a project if you want it.

- If it is a fit, you get a fixed-scope proposal with the work, the deliverables and one price. No obligation.

A few straight answers.
Do you do bookkeeping?
I offer bookkeeping support, and I can bring in and coordinate outsourced help when the work calls for it. Tax preparation, filing, financial statements and accounting judgment stay with your CPA.
Who actually does the work?
Me, or a team I bring in and coordinate, depending on the volume and the work. We agree who does what in the proposal.
Will this replace my CPA?
No. Your CPA handles tax and accounting judgment. Back-office support keeps your records current and ready for them.
